In April for example is Semana Santa still celebrated in the old city centre. This is also where the typical Spanish culture can still be seen, with many processions.
In May, in the mountains of Marbella, is the pilgrimage to La Cruz Juanar.
The largest celebration in Marbella is the Feria de San Bernabé. This is in the first week June and mostly held in the old centre of the city, but during the night the celebrations spread throughout the Marbella.
You will be able to find the best of all international cuisines in Marbella, whether you like Italian, French or other. Probably the most famous local dish is Pescaíto Frito, this is small fried fish. This fish could differ from calamares to anchovies, or other. But also the cold soups (gazpacho and ajoblanco) are very popular.
