Torremolinos Costa del Sol

Near the capital of the province, Malaga, is Torremolinos, a city with a great history. Living in this city you will be able to see that it has lot of history. This city was one of the first to have grown as a result of tourism, but it is not the biggest city, more a suburb of Malaga. It has kept it tradition concerning feasts and celebrations.
Looking down from the mountains, Mijas range, you will see the differences of this town. The city can be divided in several parts, with the old city centre in the middle. The old city, with Calle San Miguel as its main street, is filled with lovely boutiques and lots of small shops and stores.

In the other parts of Torremolinos you will find some of the best leisure facilities of the Costa del Sol. Along the beaches are most of Torremolinos' hotels.
In the summer these some of the suburbs, with many hotels, are filled with tourists. Many of them are young and come to Torremolinos for its famous nightlife.
Outside the summer season Torremolinos is much more peaceful and you will have to chance to really meet the Spanish people. Enjoy the friendliness and real Spanish way of living.
